CHIEF OFFICER

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Chief Officer you will be working in a team of 4-6 crew members. You are able to perform your watch keeping and navigational duties independently on the bridge, sail the vessel as well as hands-on activities on deck. Due to the diversity of our scope of work, projects and sailing areas, no trip will be the same.

You are preferable experienced, or willingly to learn, maneuvering, anchor handling and towing skills. Responsibilities will be preparing sailing plans, navigation and watchkeeping. Your support to the master and crew is indispensable. Work is carried on in varies sailing area’s such as Nort-West Europe and Africa.

• Hands-on mentality
• Good communication and administrative skills
• Fluently command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing

IN POSSESSION OF 

• Valid Dutch CoC "Chief Mate II/2 - no limitation or "Chief Mate II/2 - all ships less than 3000 GT" 
• Valid seaman's book, STCW documents including medical health certificate
• Valid passport >6 months
